Karen S Wells Fendt, 63 died Nov 26,2005 .
She was born Feb 15, 1942 at McPherson, the daughter of Fred and Berneice Buehre Wells. She was a 1960 graduate of McPherson High School and a graduate of Venus Beauty Academy, Wichita. She worked at Rhea's and the Magic Mirror. She also worked 15 years at The Cedars and 15 years for USD418 food service.
She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
She married James R Fendt, Feb 23,1963 at St Joseph Catholic Church, in McPherson and he survives.
Other survivors include: two daughters and their spouses, Rhonda and Scott Wedel and their sons, Matthew and Justin, Overland Park, and Paula and Scott Davis and their children, Tyler, Tyson and Emily, McPherson ; One son; Phil Fendt and his son, Nolan, Aurora, Neb.
Karen was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Janet Shanley.

Karen attended Wickersham Grade school. So she was a member of a special class from the beginning. She and Sharon Anderson and I used to walk home after school and some of our stops along the way will always be in my memory.
