Sheila Johnson (Freidenberger)

Shelia Kay Freidenberger, age 78, passed away Saturday, January 2, 2021 in Rogers, Arkansas. She was born March 31, 1942 in McPherson, Kansas to Charles and Vivian (Schafer) Johnson.

Shelia was married for 59 years to her loving husband, Ron, with whom she raised three children together. She was a wonderful mother to Scott, Michael and Kris. She always gave them her unconditional love. She was also blessed with seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren who were very fortunate to have known her.

She is survived by her husband, Ron Freidenberger, her son Scott, her son Michael and wife Nancy, her daughter Kris and husband Steve. Her grandchildren Amy, Jake, Jami, Dylan, Mason, Chandler and Cayd and her great grandchildren Hailey, Aisley and Easton. She is also survived by her brother, Kevin Johnson and her sister, Sharyl Miller.

Sheila retired in 2013 after working for 32 years as a secretary in the Rogers school system. She was known as “Miss Sheila” by many and will be missed by all. She enjoyed cross stitching, sewing and reading. She also enjoyed spending time with her lifelong friends. After her retirement she volunteered in the library at the Rogers Senior Center until her health prevented her to do so.

A private service was held under the direction of Nelson-Berna Funeral Home In Rogers.

Russell Crawford

Sheila was my first "girlfriend" in 5th grade. Don't think she ever knew it - I was very shy.
Rest well, Sheila, you were a blessing in my life.
